Am building evolution for distrib here at work - was
initially thrilled to see this package, but without the
connector module, it's of no use to us =[

We have Novell Evolution 2.0 with Connector running on Mac OS X
10.3.6, however it has some problems that we are still working on. It
will be released when it is ready. Persons using this software on Mac OS
X should realize that Evolution is more than just an X11 application. It is
a Gnome application and requires the complete Gnome environment to
be fully functional. For that reason, it will never be natively ported to
Mac OS X, and will remain a proof-of-concept project. For persons who
need commercially supported Microsoft Exchange Connectivity we
recommend Microsoft Entourage 2004 or Apple Mail/iCal. Our Evolution-
OS X + Connector project may never be suitable for use in a production
environment on the Mac platform because of its high level of integration
    with Gnome.
