Tried both the GUI and Non GUI installer i get to the "Select and install software" and it just sits at please wait, im trying it in a virtual PC running under windows 7.
Any idea's?
Does the VM have a network and internet connection? It will attempt to retrieve some packages from the internet, and check for updates to the packages on the install image.

That is peculiar. Are you able to install a stock standard netinst Debian CD? Failing that, if you can upload example copies of the VM (I suggest zipping then attaching them to this bug report), we can try and reproduce the issue ourselves. You might want to not include the disk image files.

Yes, has network connection and internet. I created it from a template that i use for other vm's so i sure that part is okay.
