The init.d scripts for the evogrid daemons don't have the LSB header information expected by the packaging system. Because of this, the evogrid daemons are started before the network is up, they fail to connect to the Simulation Manager, then delay to wait for it to become available.

The fix is to use the LSB template provided by the packaging system. I didn't know about this template when I made the init.d scripts by hand.
