I built the following structure:
3 discs with BBR segment manager attached
The 3 discs were then formed into a RAID5.
The RAID5 was then put into a container.
I used this container to make two more, which were in
turn made into EVMS volumes. One had a swap
filesystem put on it and the other a reiserfs. It all
worked fine unless you tried to save it when
the 'Invalid Argument' message appeared, and it
wouldn't save.
By trial and error I found that if the BBR segment
manager was missed out it worked fine.
I don't understand why I got the invalid argument
message; I assume either it was caused by a bug
somewhere, or you aren't supposed to build the
structure I did, in which case there is a bug
somewhere!
