#4 cannot run electoral software

I am an electorla officer and very much interested in what the eletronic voting system has to offer
I refer to your page

in which I tried to do as indicated: Develop PC based voting machine software for demonstration.

I downloaded the evm-bre...gz but cannot open nor run the file. I had to install a Microsoft's program and download a Stuffit free file which I did.

in the past, I usually would get a ".exe" file and that was it but I do not understand where I am stuck

can you please help me out

the so-called archive files (i.e., zip files) that end with .gz or .tar are for Unix systems. Were you able to unpack the archive on your Windows system using Stuffit?
