For ranked choice ballots (such as county
commissioner), allow for the use of drop down lists of
numbers next to each option in place of numbered radio
buttons. The voter would choose "1" from the drop
down list next to the first choice, etc.
If a number is selected that is already chosen, the
previous selection for that number would be bumped up
by 1 as would all subsequent choices. Thus, if the voter
has ranked choices 1 through 5 and then selects
number 3 for another option, the previous 3 would
become 4, the privious 4 would become 5 and the
previous 5 would become 6.
