No

This problem occurs when you try to start Evil Pandy
3D / Duke Nukem 3D, and have the Duke CD in the drive.
It will go to the exit screen after initializing the game
and tell you to put the CD into the drive, even though it
already is in.

This happens if the cdrom.ini file is missing, hidden, or
corrupted.

TO FIX THIS PROBLEM:

1. Go to the folder you have installed Evil Pandy 3D/Duke
Nukem 3D to.
2. In Windows Explorer, go to Tools | Folder Options,
and click on the View tab. Under "Hidden files and
folders", click on "Show hidden files and folder". Press
OK, and then hit F5 to refresh Explorer.
3. Look for a file called cdrom.ini.
a. IF YOU FIND IT: Right-click on it and select
PROPERTIES. Make sure the "Hidden" box is NOT
CHECKED. If it is checked, uncheck it and click OK.
b. IF YOU DO NOT FIND IT: Open up Notepad or a
similar text-only editor. Create a SINGLE-LINE FILE (in
other words, do NOT hit the Enter key at the end of the
line) that contains only the following:

x:\support\

WHERE "x" is, put the letter of your CD-ROM drive. Be
sure to include the trailing slash, or else this will not
work. REMEMBER: Do NOT hit the Enter key at the end
of the line. Now save the file to your Duke Nukem / Evil
Pandy folder as "cdrom.ini". If you use notepad, make
sure to save it as "cdrom.ini" INCLUDING the quotation
marks -- this way, Notepad won't automatically add .txt
to the filename.

Now you should be able to start Duke Nukem / Evil
Pandy fine. If you still have problems, post on the
forums here.
