Hi, I noticed that eViaCam is constantly searching to detect the face. So if there is no face in the view field of the camera, the software is still active.
I was thinking that it would be logical if no face is detected for a certain period of time, that the camera turns off, and probably be activated again on a mouse move or key press. Is there anything that would make this a problem?
thanks for your time!
It would be. Disabling completely the camera would save CPU but sometimes, depending on the user requirements, we cannot rely on a key press or mouse move to enable it again (the user might not be able to do so), thus it would be an optional feature. Anyway, you could add your request to Tracker -> Feature request.
