Summary: listNodes

Initial Comment:
I would like either a new parameter on listNodes to 
restrict results to a type or types, or a new 
function like listNodesOfType which does the same. I 
can do it myself at the application level rather than 
API but I can't help but feel it might be faster and 
would certainly be cleaner to have it in the 
libraries.
