EveryDataStoreBackend is the backend core of the EveryDataStore Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform. Built with the open-source PHP framework SilverStripe 5, it powers the business logic and defines all core processes behind the scenes. This includes role-based access control, digital record management, workflow processing, and data validation.
The backend communicates securely with the Angular-based frontend through the integrated RESTful interface, EveryRESTfulAPI, which transforms frontend requests into structured JSON operations. It also prepares and delivers data from the MySQL database for frontend rendering.

Thanks to SilverStripe’s modular design, EveryDataStoreBackend is highly scalable and can be extended via plugins or custom modules to meet advanced enterprise requirements. It forms the foundation for all ECM features—document management, digital case files, time tracking, invoice workflows, and AI-powered automation—within the EveryDataStore platform.
