Accounts registration should involve email authentication (for both spam reduction and to provide confirmed contact details) and - at the website operators option - manual activation. The inclusion of CAPTCHA's is dependent on the availability of a free library for sufficiently strong captcha's compatible with the IGB.
Account holders should be able to set display preferences like datetime formats, timezone and language.
