Jacques Deschênes reported a machine-level exception in the callback handling for Windows. Matt Lewis submitted the fix involving a calling convention discrepancy. If you are experiencing similar crashes, you should now use eugtk_call_back(my_routine_id) instead of call_back for your event handlers ("when" procedures and menu clicks).
I am planning to package a release candidate sometime in January 2008. Anyone looking to write documentation or demos should contact me, as these are woefully behind the actual implementation. There are still a couple small bugs that I'm ironing out, which is why the package has not been created yet. Stay tuned.
After a 2-year hiatus, EuGTK is on track to be fully compliant with GTK+ 2.10. The bleeding edge will always be available in the CVS Repository, and official releases will be available in the files section for 2.6, 2.8, and 2.10. Some of the first improvements make it easier to use EuGTK with less than the most current version of the GTK libraries.
You will also need the GTK-2 library for Windows,
which is available here: http://www2.arnes.si/~sopjsimo/gimp/stable.html
or here:

The latest (Aug 21) version should be usable without change on
all 3 platforms. Let me know if it does not.

There is a busy forum where you can ask questions:
http://www.listfilter.com/EUforum/
I check there daily.
Someone who understands the use of tags, iterators,
etc. could be a big help with this. Plz. contact me.

I have logged over 300 downloads from here and from my homepage, plus there are other sites which aren't logged.
I'm guessing the total downloads to be around 500 - 600.
No one has reported that they couldn't get EuGTK to work,
and almost no one has requested help, reported missing
features, etc.
If you download this software and can't use it, PLEASE
SEND ME AN E-MAIL. I'll try to assist you in getting it working, or make suggested changes.... read more
I need testers to help find the remaining bugs. Please help.
If you have questions or need some example code, please
do feel free to e-mail me. This helps both of us.
