Welcome to the Wiki for Euclidean Spaces Scanner!
The first thing you should know is that we are Dutch so it could be possible that there are a few strange word here and there scattered between discussions and code.
We love the open source community and we learned a lot from code and ideas from others so we choose to release the project under the Creative Commons license 3.0
Euclidean Spaces Scanner van Eucledian Solutions is in licentie gegeven volgens een Creative Commons Naamsvermelding-NietCommercieel-GelijkDelen 3.0 Unported licentie.
Gebaseerd op een werk op sourceforge.net.
This basically means that you can
use this project and alter it for your own use but you can't make money off it that privilege is ours alone.
And we think we deserve it cause the research and development is currently 500+ hours and counting
The basic concept is that we use and arduino Uno microcontroller the communicate with the David laserscanner software provided by David vision systems.
The main goal is a seamless intergration...
You hook the scanner to your computer, it installs (for first use) and sync the settings and is ready to be used with the push of a button
Because this project is build around a hardware project that communicate with a PC it consist of several sections:
