Hardware project that works with the 3D laserscanner software from DAVID-vision Systems.
It is build around the arduino UNO and encompasses an specifically designed shield, casing and Computer Sync-tool. Written in C++, C#.NET, SolidWorks, Eagle CAD
The first thing you should know is that we are Dutch so it could be possible that there are a few strange word here and there scattered between discussions and code.
We love the open source community and we learned a lot from code and ideas from others so we choose to release the project under the Creative Commons license 3.0

This basically means that you can use this project and alter it for your own use, but you can't make money off it, that privilege is ours alone.
And we think we deserve it cause the research and development is currently 500+ hours and counting

The basic concept is that we use an arduino Uno microcontroller wich communicates with the David laserscanner software provided by David vision systems.

The main goal is a seamless integration...
You hook the scanner to your computer, it installs (for first use) and sync the settings and is ready to be used with the push of a button
