#2 Unable to find `metaflac' in your PATH

My environment:

Windows XP Pro SP2
Cygwin 1.5.11-1
Perl 5.8.5
FLAC 1.1.0
Etree-scripts 2.3

I open cygwin and go to a directory where I have
several shows in flac format.

I ensure flac.exe, metaflac.exe, and md5check.pl are
all in my path.

When I run md5check, I get an error Checking
Fingerprints.txt (15 files): checking
DickeyBetts2004.8.14d1t1.flac: Unable to find
`metaflac' in your PATH. Try http://flac.sourceforge.net/

Yet the following command returns success:

$ which metaflac.exe
/cygdrive/c/WINNT/metaflac.exe
