You could steal the names > from /usr/include/linux/nfs.h and add to etherboot.h. I just commited changes, introducing the constants NFS_READLINK, NFSERR_ISDIR and NFS_INVAL for 5/21/22 resp. Error messages should now be able to state if the requested URL is a directory, not a file. Same if the requested string is invalid.
