Accordning kernel.otg the latest kernel is 2.5.62. I extracted the 
sis900 source and compiled with 2.4.20 kernel. Guest what - NOTHING.

Please, I am not C coder, but I'm not too bad Delphi programer. If 
somebody can add the VIA6103 into the linix sis900 module in 1 hour, and 
it's working?  It will not be only me who will get the advantage of this 
driver, but a lot of people as well. Thouse PCCHIPS MB are widely sold 
in the UK.
