OK, I have the smartcore PIII sending out packets at last.

They seem to be right (dhcpd thinks they're dhcp packets anyway) but
things don't go well on the receive side. The in-memory descriptor is
never filled in, and the frame received bit in the status word is never
set.

Anybody got a hint :-)
