Are external menus stable and complete (i.e. can I do everything with an
external menu that I can do with an internal menu and expect it to work)?
I have some systems that currently make heavy use of the internal menus
(ANSI graphics sequences, lots of TFTP-included files eg. icons) - if the
external menu code is already able to support this then I'll migrate now
instead of waiting for 5.2.
