The same card works fine on Dell/HP/ and other machines. Please confirm (or deny and elaborate ) The card is a PCI card which contains only a ROM ( or Flash EPROM ), it doesn't have a ethernet chip on it. The motherboard's NIC is used. ( no cheap network interface card with EPROM socket is used to include an extra BIOS ROM which has code to use the MOBO NIC) All checked computers have the same processor. Not sure, but I would build with 'DEBUG=pci', example given: make bin/gpxe.dsk DEBUG=pci That is because 'pci' does, AFAIK, scan which card to use. > I will try to contact IBM support center also on this issue Please keep us (at least me ;- ) informed. > Thanks, > Viswa Cheers Geert Stappers |
