You don't seem to have read what I wrote. There is no guarantee that PnP BIOSes will continue to handle legacy ROMs. If there is no ISA bus then all devices are on the PCI bus and thus have to be PnP. I don't want this change in the official configuration. But anybody can edit the Config file as you have done. Nobody is stopping anybody from making a legacy ROM. The matter is closed. You can submit the HOWTO or not, as you wish. |
