It would be really cool if you could use variables in your menu or motd
reference items like your:

MAC address
Hostname (supplied from DHCP server)
IP address
etc
etc

Somethink like

.motd:\
        :T184="ESC[31m":\
        :T185="+------------------------------------------------------+":\
        :T186="|                Welcome to %HOSTNAME                  |":\
        :T187="|              Your IP address: %IP                    |":\
        :T188="|                                                      |":\
        :T189="+------------------------------------------------------+":\
        :T190="ESC[37m":

Would show

        +------------------------------------------------------+
        |                Welcome to station7                   |
        |              Your IP address: 10.100.0.7             |
        |                                                      |
        +------------------------------------------------------+
