| from 1024 to 256 bytes. An overhead of 256 bytes of data + tens of bytes
| of code I can live with, especially as it falls on the FreeBSD booters,
| not the Linux booters. :-) But in the long term, a third stage for
| FreeBSD would allow functionality to be moved there.
