[Etherboot-developers] some rom-o-matic.net stats

I thought it might be interesting to take a week of ROM-o-matic.net data 
and do a simple count of what ROMs were requested. Below is a simple 
count of each ROM image type requested sorted in reverse order by 
frequency.

This will give you a rough idea of what kinds of Etherboot images people 
are generating.  With a little more work (and using the table in the NIC 
file in the Etherboot distribution) one could reduce the data further by 
the actual driver that is being used.  For example, the tulip driver 
handles lots of different ROM images, as does the 3C90x driver.  I can 
hear some enterprising perl hackers in the background already getting 
their associative arrays going right now... :-)

Anyway, this was just for curiosity's sake.  The rom-o-matic has been 
doing about 1000 ROM images a week for the last month:

access_log.20010506: 1080
access_log.20010513: 1132

So here's the data.  It's nice to see that people are making use of the 
service.
