O.k. The reason I ask is that it seems to be maintained as a debian project,
and version 0.3 has been out since sometime in march.

True. With atftp I haven't seen problems with inetd. I have
see weird problems with it locking up though, it failing worse than if inetd
had simply refused to answer requests. For me to really trust a
solution I'm going to have to both test it very hard and read the
code. I'm not convinced there are currently any stable tftp servers....
