Have built a kernel and got it to load. During init, it says, 

Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.1.1 
Root-NFS: Unable to get nfsd port number from server, using default


I am suspicious of this because my sniffer reports the rpc request and
response as follows

 002584            0.000.155.040  102 Linux Server     TNS-4 Front
Portmapper Procedure Name - 3 ( PMAPPROC_GETPORT ) Call
 002585            0.001.892.120   74 TNS-4 Front      Linux Server
Portmapper Procedure Name - 3 ( PMAPPROC_GETPORT ) Reply

which seems to indicate the server did as it was requested.

Can anyone tell me what this means and how I might proceed to overcome this
embarrassment?
