I'm not interested in incorporating the patch into the mainstream
because it requires that the MAC address of the server be hardwired into
the ROM, making the ROM very site specific. However I will put it into
the contrib section and you can handle all questions about it. Better
still, if you could put it on your web site, if you have one, I can put
a link from the docs, and you can update your patch as you wish.
