In some bioses you also need to find a place to actually enable the boot 
from lan.  As strange as it seems the seems to be no connection between 
a nic device showing up on the boot menu and whether boot from lan is 
enabled elsewhere.

So to summarize, keep looking through the bios and you may fin an 
additional setting that needs to be enabled.
