[Etherboot-developers] Etherboot web site new design

Hello,

I've put up a new sample etherboot website design at:

   http://www.thinguin.org/etherboot_new_site/

All feedback is welcome.  

Notes:

- Only some of the navigation links work right now because it's not on
SourceForge and not all the files were copied over.

- It's the same content that is there now, with (hopefully) more
convenient navigation.

Please post comments and suggestions to the etherboot-developers list,
and hopefully we can update the real site soon.

Marty,

Nice job. 

I especially like the Etherboot logo that looks
like a NIC.  But, the word 'Project' is really hard
to read.

Are you going to get a banner printed for LWCE with
the Logo ?  I think it would look cool.

Spiffy! I like it. My only comment is that you should try running the pages 
through the HTML validator at W3C. I have had good luck with using this service 
to ensure that my pages are reasonably compatible with most of the browsers out 
there (although I don't think, your pages do anything exceptionally unusual 
anyway). Also, if you used style sheets, you wouldn't have to always type in all 
the font names and you can do neat things such as writing justified text.

Thanks for the feedback on the website design so far.  I will implement
the suggestions.

I have just learned there may be several brief power outages here in
Cambridge tonight.  We got virtually no notice.  They claim they need to
upgrade facilities to improve service in the future :)  I'll need to shut
down some servers for the night, but they should be back up by 13:00 GMT
7 June.  I may also have to do this tomorrow night ast well (8 June).

This will affect rom-o-matic.net and thinguin.org.  Etherboot.org should
be resolved by secondary DNS.

Apologies for any inconvenience.
