We've got a new graphics system, new builder utilities, automatic tiling of bordered tiles, item editors, and a nice start of a mobile editor. There's not much to do in the game yet, but the framework is in, and the combat system is nicely started!
Here's a new release! We've got a more permanent server that comes set up as default for users to log into and poke around at. We also have released our world building tools for the first time! Lots of nice upgrades here. I'm hoping for a new graphics system and a bunch of content coming soon.

Eternal Realms has been picked up in a refactoring project at http://csci.morris.umn.edu/UMMCSciWiki/bin/view/CSci4605f05/EternalRealmsRefactoring
The changes will be ported into the sourceforge branch when the project is completed.

Keep your eyes open for a new OpenGL renderer and some Junit tests! The code is, as always, in CVS.
There's been a lot of work going on behind the scenes on release 0.005. When released, it will have an all new attribute system which facilitates easy an automatic saving of core classes, like Player, Mobile, Item, and Area.
Here's a big release! Runnable jar files include new features such as ai scripts, pickupable items, droppable items, and all kinds of upgrades. Details are on our forum. The code is, as always, in CVS.
Today's new release includes a system of 270 some socials and the ability to load items on the ground and interact with them. All previously reported bugs have been fixed. Welcome to our several new developers!
The first release is now ready to download. Please note that this software is in very early stages. This release has been tested on all three target platforms, and includes the most basic functionality. You can create a new account, log in, chat with other users, and walk around. You can also pick things up, drop things, and forage for mushrooms, but these are still very preliminary. A basic status command and inventory screen is also in.
