#3 No network on LGR200 Ubunut 8.04, Kernel 2.6.24-17-generic

Hi I have downloaded and installed the lastest driver 3-3. I cant get et131x to work on my LGR200 on Ubuntu 8.04. I am running the proposed 2.6.24-17-generic #1 SMP Thu May 1 13:57:17 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux kernel.

I have put on verbose output (et131x_debug_level=7) and I can see

lots of msg like this

sometimes when i plug in the network cable into a HP switch I almost shutting down all trafic on all other ports.

But I cant get IP over DHCPD, or get any connection using static IP.
