Version 1.2.0.1 of EstSearchDialogs is released.

EstSearchDialogs is a Delphi component set to create powerful search functionality in your application by building an SQL statement and visualy configuring how your user may search on the query result. Use BDE, DB Express, ADO, IB Express, Zeos or a custom data access layer to connect to your database.

This release brings some more improvements, such as a separate transaction on the IBX version. Also the ValueToDate function was split off to uEstSearchDialogDateUtils so u can re-use this in your own code. In addition to that, HALFYEAR was added to the special date values. Version 1.2 of EstSearchDialogs has been released. This release brings you customized predefined search query. Users can now store their own frequently used search combinations. Also some new functions have been added to read back the search result, hints have been added to the dialog (all can be translated offcourse) and some bugfixes were made.... read more

Version 1.1.0.2 of the EstSearchDialog components is a fact. Some minor bugfixes and a new data access layer implementation, Jedi Unified InterBase, are the main ingredients this release. Enjoy.

From now on all thrird party version packages will be released along with the version of the main packages. This is done so people building Delphi applications with runtime packages will be able to release the new packages using upgrade installs (which would not have been possible if package version numbers do not change).

EstSearchDialogs changes to Mozilla Public License 1.1, to grant developers more freedom in the use of the components than GPL did.

The 1.1 version of the components has been release. Major change is that different project groups and packages are now available for different versions of Delphi, so no version conflicts can occur when working with packages.

For now only the source .zip version is available, the install version will be released within a week.

An exe demo for the upcoming 1.1 version of the components has been released. This allows potential users to view the components in action before deciding wether or not to use them.

The third party database access layer implementations of the dialogs will be released in separate packages.

For now only the source package of the standard Delphi database access layers (DBX, ADO, IBX and BDE) has been released.

The FlashFiler, Nexus, Zeos and FIB plus releases will be done later this week.
