With regard to bug item #693278

I have seen this exception in version 0.9.2 and 0.9.9 (and I
think 0.9.8).

Anyway, the only additional information that I can give you
is that it seems to happen mostly (and maybe only) when
that file that I am checking out is already check out by
someone else. When the exception occurs, it happens
before I get the dialog box that asks me whether I want to
check out a file that is already checked out because the
dialog box is never displayed. Restarting Eclipse seems to
almost always allow me to check out the file. In other
words, I hardly ever see this error on the first file that I try to
check out (even if it is checked out by someone else).

Also, even though it seems to happen more often when I
am working remotely, it does happen even when I am in
the office.
