I'm using espeak in a cron script. I am specifing pitch, amplitude, etc.. Just noticed it is really loud.
If I run espeak as normal user, the volume is normal. interestingly if I log on as root, it is also normal volume. But if I "sudo espeak" it is loud. Any ideas?
