Incorrect pronunciation of numbers.
Numbers can be writtin in English. E.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ...
Similarly, we can write those in Hindi. E.g. १, २, ३, ४, ५, ६ ...
Expected: Whenever we encounter English numbers, we should hear one, two,
three, four, five, six ...
Whereasfor Hindi numbers, we should hear "एक", "दो", "तीन", "चार", "पांच",
"छह" ...
Current scenario:
English numbers are read out using Hindi and Hindi numbers are spoken out in Hindi as well.
Vowels in Hindi/Marathi must be named
In English vowels have their own names separate from pronunciation. E.g. "I" has name "eye" but pronunciation as "e" in "sit" or "eye" in "rise". Similarly, vowels in Hindi/Marathi are spoken out by espeak using pronunciation and not names. E.g. there's a vowel that is pronounced as "aa" but has name "kaanaa" in Marathi.
