    Hello,

    I use esniper 2.19.0 for a few weeks and it works fine at the first time. But if I now execute "esniper -m" I get no results. What's wrong? I haven't changed anything!

    Thanks!

      Maybe you accidently changed MyEbay to the new beta version? If this beta stuff is enabled esniper won't work AFAIK. It's not yet compatible.

        Hi,

        no - that could not be the problem - I haven't switches to the new beta!
        I also tried to compile an istall new but no changes!

        If I execute esniper -m user and password will be forced and if I type it correctly I get nothing back. If I try it with a wrong PW or user I get a error-message. So I am sure, that esiper loggs on at ebay.

        Any other idea..?

        Tom

          I believe you are right, I experience the same issue using ebay.de. No output by using "esniper -m" with actually one item in the "watched items" list.

          Here's my esniper.log

          =========================================================
          //NSLU2~# esniper -d -m
          //NSLU2~# cat esniper.log

      Hi,

      okay - so it's not a local problem with my configuration. Now it's the question how it could be solved!

      just for info - my log is much longer...!

      Regards
      Tom

      It seems that eBay has decided the Beta is now production.  The new watchlist format is now the default with no way to return to the old method.  Damn, I don't like the new beta, it looks like crap.

      So, whoever knows curl better than I is going to need to update the search format.  I took a look at the source of the myeBay page and it's a mess of java and style pages.  I don't think we're going to be using esniper for a while...

        Hi,

        on my MyEbay I see the old style - not the beta-version! If I want, I can switch to the beta, but I don't want to do it...!

          Try logging into www.ebay.com.  I bet you'll see you have the new and improved watch list.  When Iog into www.ebay.ca like normal, everything looks fine as well.  The other sites are coming, they just did the US site first.

            Hi..!

            ..this sound's bad...! I use ebay.de and there I see the old style and therefor I thought it must be another problem.

            ..so we all need a solution!

              This is complex task, remember the discussion thet esniper is not UTF8 compatible. I guess this will be more or less a complete rewrite. :-(
