Stated quit simply, the goal is to have EsiObjects used extensively throughout the world. This is why we submitted it and all of the associated packages to the Open Source. EsiObjects and all the associated packages (EsiORB, EsiQuery, etc.) are free to organizations and individuals under the EsiObjects Public License (EOPL, which is based on the Mozilla Public License). EOPL balances the interests between the Open Source and commercial communities. It places some restrictions on what can and cannot be done with the sources.

Reading a software license is tantamount to having a root canal. So, to make sure that everyone understands what can and cannot be done with EsiObjects and associated packages, I've posted a document called "EsiObjects Public License (EOPL)  Described" under the Docs section of EsiObjects project at http://www.SourceForge.net/projects/esiobjects/.
