Two days ago, I was able to install Tru64 UNIX V5.1B (Rev. 2650): the
installation was fast (maybe 3 hours), and in the fina phase :
*** KERNEL CONFIGURATION AND BUILD PROCEDURE ***
The system will now automatically build a kernel
with only mandatory options and then reboot. This can take
up to 15 minutes, depending on the processor type.
took 50 minutes, so I think we are emulating about 1/4 speed of a true es40
:)
