    Hi,

I am trying to use the EPtoolkit to do PCA on Neuroscan average files. I have 3 groups and for each subject I have 3 files (3 conditions). The toolbox can read the files but how do I conduct PCA on the whole group of files, and not on individual files? It seems like currently I need to select a file before clicking on PCA.

    Thanks,
    - Muhammad

but when I click PCA, after setting the parameters for PCA, it doesn't respond. The Matlab window doesn't show that Matlab is 'busy' and I get the following message:

Please disregard the last two lines in the earlier message (below my signature). Sorry about the confusion.

Just in case this would be helpful for anyone else, here is the response I sent Muhammad back in December:

When you use single file mode, it merges all the files into a single file.  It will be listed as a single file on the PCA pane, which you will then need to click on to select if for the PCA.  The Toolkit requires that PCA be conducted with a single file.  You'll need to merge files one way or another before you can do a PCA with them.  You can also use the Edit function to combine files.
