Thank you for continuing to refine and support this excellent program!
I just downloaded and installed the latest version of the ep toolkit, and after running the temporal PCA, and while trying to identify the number of factors to retain for the spatial PCA, the program is running into a problem trying to generate the scree plot for the data relative to noise data. After the toolkit starts the PCA:
Using EEGlab function runica to perform Infomax rotation.
Starting the PCA.
Scree: The PCA of the data.
Scree: The PCA of the noise data.
I get this error:
Reference to non-existent field 'noise'.
Error in ep>pickPCAdata (line 8256)
numchan=size(noiseResults.noise,1);
Error while evaluating Table CellSelectionCallback
Do you have a sense of what might be going wrong?
Thank you!
Anna

Hi Anna,
sorry about this! Please send me a copy of the file you're trying to PCA and the output you get when you type ver in the command window and I'll get it fixed.

Will do-- it's currently running another PCA (that I knew the number of factors to retain), but when it is done, I will send to you. Thank you, Joe!
I just tried it out on some of my own data but it worked fine. I'll definitely need a copy of your data file to fix this.
someone else ran into the same issue and sent me an example file. I'm sending you the fixed version and will post it as part of a new release soon.
Hi Joe!
I, too, am running into the same issue (Reference to non-existent field 'noise'., etc.). Could I get a copy of the fix as well?
Thanks so much!
Emilio
sure thing! I hope to post an update with the fix this weekend.
