    Dear Joe,

I am planning to conduct source analyses with LORETA on the data obtained with my temporo-spatial PCA . To do so, I have to reconstruct my data with the equation developed in your papers.

However, I would like to make sure that I am doing it correctly (I am novice on the field)

I guess that I need to obtain one data for each time/channel combination and for each condition.
To calcule my time /channel value, I have to do

    L1 x V1 X L2 X S2 X V2

I assume that for the first combination:
L1= First row of the TF01SF1 column on the FacPatST sub-pane
V1= Standard deviation calculated on the first row of the FacPatST sub-pane
L1= First row of the TF01 column on the FacPat sub-pane
S2= Mean of the first row of the FacPat sub-pane
and V2= SD of the first row of the FacPat sub-pane.

Is that correctly or am I make a mistake somewhere?

Once again, thank your for help,

    Regards,

    Erika

You don't need to do any of this if you're using the EP Toolkit. It already handles all the math for you. Just Edit the PCA dataset to pare it down to just what you wish to keep, then Save the PCA data in .txt format. You can then import the .txt file directly into LORETA (assuming you're using LORETA-KEY).
