I use ERMaster with Eclipse 3.5 and it works well. Fine project.
I want to import some Tables from a DB2 database running on z/OS. When I used the archivefile 'db2java.zip' from IBM, which runs with all other DB-Tools (SQL-Explorer, QuantumDB) ERMaster do not find a current driver.
If I used the 'db2jcc.jar' from IBM there couldn't found the license file.
Could you explain how to connect with DB2 databases? I've tested diffent ways, but without success.
Thanks and best regards
Thank you for using ERMaster and reporting the problem.
It was bug and it was fixed at version 1.0.0.v20090713-2233.
When you selected the JDBC driver's jar file, it came to be able to select two or more files.
As a result, when db2jcc.jar was used as JDBC driver of DB2,
necessary license file (db2jcc_license_cu.jar) was able to be selected at the same time.
sorry for late reply.
The connect to z/OS DB2 System works now, but not good.
ERMaster makes a deep scan of database. This takes 15 minutes for our system and our DBA gets a lot of messages about unallowed access of schemas.
A better way is to get first the schema to select and than scan this for tables a.s.o.
Do you think you can fix ERMaster in this way?
