I've run into the follwoing problem:

gawk: cmd. line:2: fatal: cannot open file `/e/Mamut/PREREQUISITES/Erlang/bin/erl' for reading (No such file or directory)

Though erlang is installed and running ok. Did you build erlang from source on Windows (if it is at all possible), or did yaws install correctly the first time around?

I got Yaws working using the mingw stuff ( www.mingw.org) it
is very easy to install and use.
(just using the shell+ssh make it almost enjoyable to
run Windoze....)
