Hi, I would like to set up a web interface for a program that runs as normal user, and I would like the users to access this interface using their Unix username and password (I know this means that the program must be able to access the crypted form of the users' Unix passwords, which could be considered a security problem, but since this program is intended for use on internal network only, I do not consider this a big problem). The documentation says that PAM authentication is usually done through a port program that runs as setuid, but I don't have enough privileges to do that, so what would be the best way to set such authentication up? Thanks!
