Eria Model

Eria stands for a kind of orchid counting hundreds of species. In the same way this project aims to provide a standard definition of paradygms and virtual machines. Ourdays plenty of different virtual machines exist yet they are all different and implementing a new language on one or another is always a new challenge.

Eria has four objectives :

• ▷ offer a global schema to describe paradygms
• ▷ a default syntax, static typed, object oriented with advanced contract support
• ▷ implement it on the most advanced community driven virtual machines, Apache Harmony and Parrot VM.
• ▷ efforts to improve this project and reach the status of an ISO specification including full test coverages.
