[Erc-help] ERC could take advantage of .authinfo/.netrc

Hi ERC-hackers,

my concern is how to conventienly avoid having to set `erc-password' in
my .emacs. I figured, I could use a `.ercrc.el' file for that, but how
about using `.authinfo' resp. `.netrc' for it? (parsing facilities are
nicely provided in `netrc.el' by Gnus, so from a technical point of
view, it shouldn't be all that hard.) What do you think? Useful? Abusion?
