Heh.  With not using ERC that often anymore, I think it is time to pass 
this on to the next person.  Michael seems to be taking over, and that's 
fine with me.

I'm actually thinking that maybe rcirc is ready for prime-time, and much 
smaller, and no copyright issues -- so maybe we should get rcirc into 
Emacs first...

Same here.  For releases 3 and 4 we just had a feature freeze for a few 
days after deciding that now was a good time, packed HEAD into a 
tarball, and continued with business as usual.  No bug-fix releases.
