Equicord FAQ & Troubleshooting

This page contains answers to frequently asked questions and troubleshooting guides for Equicord and Equibop.

๐ŸŒ General

Is there a mobile version?

Equicord only supports desktop. Community alternatives for mobile include Kettu, Revenge, and Aliucord.

Can I use BetterDiscord or Replugged plugins?

Not directly, but most popular plugins are built natively into Equicord or have direct equivalents.

Will I get banned for using Equicord?

Client modifications violate Discord's Terms of Service, though bans for purely using mods are rare. Avoid abusive plugins and do not share screenshots of your modded client in strict servers.

How do I migrate settings or switch branches?

Settings are shared across instances on the same computer. To switch Equibop to stable, you can use DevTools via the console or manually edit settings.json in your configuration folder (%appdata%/equibop or ~/.config/equibop)

Do you support unofficial packages or custom Windows distributions?

No. Third-party packages (Nix, AUR) and custom Windows builds (AtlasOS, Tiny11) are not supported.
