equation.tex is a temporary file generated by EqualX and so it can not be located in Lyx directory or other places like settings file. Your real problem might be other.

All seems to be correct, but when writting an equation, this error comes up
Line 0 --> i can't find file 'equation.tex'
This file is located in my computer (Lyx install) in /usr/share/doc/texlive-doc/latex/tkz-linknodes/examples/latex/equation.tex
But i don't figure out how to point to this file from equalx. I had a look to settings.conf and nothing seems to point that file.
