Equalizer Source Code released

Equalizer a programming interface and resource management system for scalable graphics applications for shared memory and distributed visualization systems.

After more than one year of development, Equalizer has now reached a state where other developers may start contributing to the project, and start building applications using the programming interface. Currently implemented is the functionality of rendering to multiple display in parallel (swap-synchronized or unsynchronized), e.g., for display walls, curved screens or multipipe workstations. The configuration is loaded from a simple ASCII configuration file. A simple example with basic event handling is provided.

You can learn more about the project at the sourceforge project website (http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizer) or at http://www.equalizergraphics.com. Developers are encouraged to contact us for any questions, proposals or other topics regarding Equalizer.
